Next up is Blacksmith: “Long ago, the town was pillaged by goblins. To protect themselves, the blacksmiths rose and forged a gate to keep the goblins out. Now with the goblins seen as a forgotten memory, the number of blacksmiths have dwindled and the task of maintaining the gate lies in the hands of a single family.
But the task has not been easy for the blacksmith’s son, Stephan, who is constantly mocked by the other townspeople for his dirty appearance. Just as Stephan decides to abandon his duty as a blacksmith, the goblins reappear and wreak havoc. He is faced with the ultimate decision: leave everyone to their fate, or protect his home like the blacksmiths before him.”

Now presenting: the forth comic from Otis College!

This one’s called Rebel Hearts: “In this universe, worlds are strictly monitored and controlled by the government and the C.O.P. (The Coming Out Program). Every world is populated by only one type of sexual preference (ex: “straight world”, “pansexual world”). At a certain age, children are required to declare their sexuality and they are transferred to their respective world.
In the hopes of creating a universal utopia where differences and preferences cannot be judged by anyone, three heroic teens join forces to fight against this oppressive system and bring families and friends back together.”

Next up is Helping Hand: “When a young boy questions if his parents will accept his sexuality, a shadow creature appears to feed off of his scared emotions. It’s up to superhero Proxima to save the day and remind him that it’s important to be yourself.”

Time to d-d-d-drop some knowledge about LGBTQ+ terms!

Today’s term is non-binary: A person whose gender identity does not conform to the gender binary, which is the erroneous idea that only two distinct and opposite genders exist (man and woman). In reality, many genders exist, and have existed throughout history! Some nonbinary people identify with more than one gender, while others don’t identify with any.

The important thing: there are many ways to be nonbinary, and everyone’s experience with gender is different.
